Bit of a long shot this, but does anyone have copies of the Jack/Hooky live streams for the following dates: 31/03/2020 07/04/2020 14/04/2020 26/05/2020 I missed the first three and also missed the start of the latest one, so would really like to see these. I also had a bit going on in the house at the time, so sadly couldn't give it my complete attention this week. According to Jack on Twitter, he couldn't save the latest chat, so it didn't appear on his Instagram page for 24 hours like in previous weeks. So, it would need to be someone who captured this at the time using 'screen capture' tech. What's doubly annoying for me is that Hooky mentioned my 'perspexorange' handle when I helped him remember a name (by me using the 'comments' facility). Call me a bit sad, but I'd quite like to preserve this 2 seconds of personal fame!

Has anyone else cum across Track by Track, the live broadcast where they go through an album with Twitter comments from fans and occasionally the proverbial horse's mouth? Recommended! Last night it was the Sirens' Call with Phil Cummingsham no less, and he's their secret weapon! They've also done Electronic and Mucous Complete, plus my wife's Northern Star (with my spouse herself) and Spiceworld. She must be busy, doing all this work, putting out her new single AND organising our wedding. I know 99% of the social media is a free for all, but this one's worthwhile. Thanks for this. Pretty decent interview. Strange to hear Gillian interviewed alone, as she's usually accompanied by Steve.

I chucked the Gillian interview on the You Tubs as it was quite rare to have an interview with her.

Lovely to hear Gillian speak. And she chose Leave me alone. I can see this song being resurrected for live performances next year.

Fingers crossed...
I decided that Ally Pally would be my last NO gig until they release something new or do a "farewell". Well I guess they have released something new. If this gig goes ahead it would be a great way to get back to normal life. Leave Me Alone and EGG would make it even greater. Go on S&G! Speaking of S&G (and Tim) here's some S news:

This was live tonight at 7.15pm. I'm not sure how we replay it. Maybe it'll end up on YouTube...
EDIT: Tim Burgess replied to me on twitter. He says: Yep, stay tuned. EDIT2: OK, Dave Haslam has now kindly forwarded this to me (it was he whom I originally asked, even tho Tim replied earlier):

☝️ Ok I've watched this now. Steve starts at 27.46. Watch/listen to him reading from his NO book. Enjoy his impersonations of his mum and Rob Gretton. Watch him bang a drum machine on a table, and then get the machine to make some very non-drum sounds. Watch him then sequence those sounds into a Morodor-esque I Feel Love kinda track. He says: name that tune, but Haslam doesn't seem to twig. Chuckle at Steve's jokes. And then look forward to the bit he'll be doing once the book is out.

Thanks for this! This was a joy and I laughed out loud at least a couple of times. Just if anyone is interested, in respect of Steve's book, there is further event going on in early November here: https://dice.fm/event/ed...ch_id=839604726822578025If you pay for this (£23.50), you get access to the streamed event, plus a signed physical copy of Steve’s new book (through Rough Trade). I’d already pre-ordered a signed copy through Rough Trade, which cost me about £24 including postage. I’ve therefore cancelled that and re-ordered using the link above. It’s worked out a few pence cheaper, and I get access to the event too. I'll post this in the other thread about Steve's book too. Edited by user 30 September 2020 04:13:52(UTC)

Whether I should have posted this here or in the book thread (or somewhere else) is perhaps debatable. But anyway, the rest of it will apparently be available to watch on the 26th.

This is excellent news. The NME article also contains a clip of 'Temptation' from Lüneberg 1984 and states the footage being shown on Gorilla TV will contain: "further ’80s New Order gigs from Copenhagen and the Kilburn National Ballroom in London, as well as an inside peek at 1988 recording sessions for ‘Technique’ in Ibiza." Wow! Colour me very excited! https://www.nme.com/news...juALdjcO10oIRS7-857ikCVE

According to a post Dave Haslam has made on Facebook, the footage includes four songs. Ultraviolence, Everything's Gone Green, Temptation, and The Village. The Village is from Copenhagen, 1984 and he provided a short extract.
Looks good. Camera is, weirdly, at the back of the stage, behind Gillian and next to Steve.
