Moon Diagrams – the solo project of Deerhunter co-founder Moses Archuleta – has released a new single, ‘Remixes #2’.
It features two reworkings of tracks from the album Cemetery Classics, which was released earlier this year.
‘Fifteen Shows At One Time’ is reworked by The Other Two, aka New Order’s Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert, who turn it from digital Daft Punk into full-on electro-banger, injecting it with a timeless bounce and driving energy evoking their 1991 classic ‘Tasty Fish’.
“Having Stephen and Gillian rework my music feels surreal,” says Moses. “Their modest presence belies their immeasurable structural impact on electronic pop and alternative music.
