Will Bernard's shades become a permanent fixture for live gigs? Can only imagine it'd be a pain in the arse wearing them in the chaos and exuberance of a full proper gig not to mention they'd keep sliding down and/or falling off. Bernard does seem quite keen on wearing them these days though. Bit odd. He almost looks like a slightly happier Lou Reed

That's where you got your name. Sorry. Carry on.

Ha! Thanks. I saw Leftfield during the sumer at Kentish Town Forum. Other than the obvious (to me) omission of Song of Life which would have ended things on a (classic hit) high, it was indeed Basstastic. I was actually worried for the health of my intestines at one point. Editors: I received a free copy of the new CD recently. Seems to have some good reviews. Haven't listened to it yet, mind. Take That: Why? You must have been forced into it... Slaves: Saw them early in 2015 as part of an NME gig. Kinda fun, but for me The Fat White Family who played after them were sooo much better. Everyone should catch the Fat Whites live before the band implode or die or something.

Might well be the case If you have sensitive eyes, stage lights, especially for TV performances, can be quite bright and hurt your eyes, so he may have been wearing sunglasses for that reason. When the band were interviewed at the Q Awards, on the red carpet, Bernard was also wearing sunglasses. He does look kind of cool with them on.

Ah i remember and loved that Tiga & Zyntherius track (from around 2002 i think) but didn't know that mash up with BM version- thanks for posting.
Maybe contact lenses or even laser eye surgery would be a better idea for Bernard? Maybe he's tried those and didn't get on with them.I'm sure he could afford laser eye surgery though is it correct it only works for long sightedness or is it the other way round?
