Good stuff. 6Music had been going on the last few days about revealing the line up today and it did cross my mind that NO could well be in there this year. Isn't this thing usually available on the red button and all that?

Aren't these 6Music Maida Vale things often during the day? Or even in the morning to sync with the radio show it's going out live from? I won't be attending but will want to record the TV which could be tricky as it will be on the red button and I'll be at work in the day. How do you record or set to record the red button? I guess I'll work it out somehow

Underworld did this thing last year. It was on a loop on the BBC red button for about 24 hours following the live broadcast (radio & online with visuals).
It eventually ended up on Youtube:


Mind you I should point out that the above YT version is missing a couple of tracks. They didn't finish with Cowgirl, there was more. Full setlist HERE.

Yeah i saw (some of) Underworld last year on the red button.Also La Roux were great.Orbital were good a year or two ( or maybe more? time goes so quickly) previously as well.

You can privately put it on youtube and then just let people know by PM. Innit.

Been playing about with the image for this as want to create an album in my iTunes (and add to phone) of the gig once i've captured the audio. Squared the original so it sits square and in sync with all the other artwork in my iTunes . Added the album cover artwork (squashed down, admittedly, yeah) but at the moment am getting jagged effect on the black lines, hoping to fix that if i can.It's a work in progress Any ideas or tips welcome.

There'll be some sort of interview I'd think though that may just be available on the red button later. When La Roux played the thing last year there was a break half way through and she took questions from the audience so maybe something like that ?

So is the thing with this you can watch and /or listen to the whole thing live but later you can only watch half of it/highlights on red button or 6Music website? Though you can just listen but not watch to the whole thing later on 6Music website. I can record the whole audio that's not a problem as have set tv box to record the radio (i'll be at work when it's on)


Basically the only chance to watch the complete set is when it's going out live? If you can't watch live then you have to settle for just half of it later on red button/website?

Cool. Thanks for the tip, Debaser. Yeah I can get the video from the tv box to my laptop with the VHS to Digital kit I have ( it works transferring stuff from tv box also) That's the easy bit. What I've got to look at is how to set the tv box to record the red button.

I've watched a bit of the Leftfield stuff but will see the rest when I get time. I've only watched the clip of Swords so far- good stuff

Bugger, yeah just looked on Virgin Media bbc red button for tomorrow- yeah it's Formual 1 practice sesh. If it is just the highlights of New Ordet we can get to see later on red button it'd be kind of frustrating as they are then repeated constantly nearly all weekend - highlights on a loop but not actually the whole set!

Only 3? That’s disappointing. I was hoping to hear more of the new album – they sem to have been playing much the same “Greatest Hits” set every time since the Shamberg gigs in 2011

Given that they were doing Plastic and Singularity at the gigs earlier this summer, I guess it will be those two plus 1. Most likely Restless as that’s the single
