This is what it looks like on a flatbed scanner with no color correction. Fluorescent orange doesn't scan, or photograph well under certain conditions. There is no yellow puffy sleeve version.

There is. That's what happens when you try to scan a fluorescent orange object. There is no yellow version. There's nothing wrong with my scanner, it's a brand new Epson V39. I'm not the only person upthread who talks about fluorescent colors being difficult to scan and/or variance. That's the image as scanned at 600dpi, with no correction. What could I possibly have to gain by arguing with you or trying to convince you there's not a yellow puffy case? There simply isn't one. Are you really going to hound poor old Torbjorn with this one? He's in New Order retirement.
I've never seen one in 28 years of looking and I've heard several times from the biggest NO collectors in the world that this simply does not exist. If that's not conclusive enough, you'd have to assume that surely someone somewhere would've added a copy to Discogs by now.
As 50poundnote demonstrated, some scanners clearly reproduce the yellow/blue combo.
On top of this, some copies of the blue text version also have the clear promo sticker on front. So that counters any lingering argument about the yellow being the promo version.
Case is closed on this one.

Yeah, with the free for all of the Net, I'm sure that if the sleeve existed, there'd be an image somewhere. It was the same with the Pet Shop boys' True Faith remix - links just went to the Shep Pettyboner version. Surely it'd be somewhere... I googled the 13-track Republic and found the Sabres' mixes on the end. As I pointed out before, these things are a mixed blessing in disguise. At least Repubelick ends well - do you want, really really want two mixes they probably never even listened to stuck on at the end? It was the same with the McCartney Collection's Press to Play - not his best album, but with a glorious orchestral finish/flourish. Or above plus ten sex silence followed by three tracks that even the Macca of 86 relegated to B-side status - and you could Youtube anyway. Less is more and all that.

My blue text version doesn't have the promo sticker. Steve Smith had one. It's as per the original "yellow" scan above but in orange. All this just jogged my memory that I also owned an official promo t-shirt of the Limited Run release back in '93. Athletic grey with "Republic - The limited run.." in dayglo orange, as per sleeve font. It'd fetch some decent coin today. Edited by user 25 March 2021 15:55:18(UTC)

here's the perfect kiss, my all time favorite song from them, and maybe from any group, ever... 1) There are the 4 main colors, plus Japanese (yellow), US (charcoal black), and 1 silver one that was released from some other record that i can't remember. i thought it was fine time, but nope, so its something else. black inner sleeve UK: https://www.discogs.com/...rfect-Kiss/release/58672blue inner sleeve UK: https://www.discogs.com/...ect-Kiss/release/2094917pink inner sleeve UK: https://www.discogs.com/...ect-Kiss/release/4911454yellow inner sleeve UK: https://www.discogs.com/...ect-Kiss/release/2094924black plastic charcoal inner US: https://www.discogs.com/...fect-Kiss/release/106509japanese yellow inner: https://www.discogs.com/...ect-Kiss/release/1674265later -1

CMYK Cyan, magenta, yellow and black: the 4 colors used for color printing. Ironic, since The Perfect Kiss, Low-life, and Sub-culture are all black and white. I love Saville’s ironic art jokes. (And yes, technically The Perfect Kiss is silver, but in the color scheme of things it’s 50% black and 50% white.) Edited by user 26 March 2021 19:10:19(UTC)

Reminds me, a few years ago I noticed that the plain paper white inner i had in my Run 2 12” was possibly the wrong inner and should be a gold one to match the gold inside of the outer sleeve . Searched through all my vinyl for a gold inner and found one in the World In Motion remixes 12” ( the one with the Caribinieri mix etc) . The outer sleeve for that is gold so I must have at some point by mistake ended up putting the gold inner from Run 12” in it. Edited by user 27 March 2021 02:13:07(UTC)

these new order postcards, just sold for $200: ebay.com/itm/NEW-ORDER-SINGLES-PROMO-POSTCARD-SET-30X-CARDS-PETER-SAVILLE-ARTWORK-POSTER/313471853812?hash=item48fc60e4f4:g:bi0AAOSw1LBgYNbX&autorefresh=true i paid $60 for mine when they were out.... stuck them in a vellum envelope: there's printing on the back, with the name and number. pretty simple to reproduce envelope and cards. they are very poor, high contrasty scans, on glossy photo paper. later -1

^ After all these years I’ve still never seen the question answered about that 5.05 edit on that Polish 7” . Is BM cut short at the start and/or end or is cut in a number of places throughout? I’ve still never seen an answer to the question
