THIS would have been my number 1 ( i did vote for it) Still never got bored of it, over 10 years on. A masterpiece and a triumph. Massive in its ambition, creativity, originality, scope, vision and realisation. Touches many parts of the soul.Utterly brilliant video too, to boot.

Another example is when people like "Paddypower.com", online gambling does a lot of harm so again it's something else for me to dislike..

The ending of that film feels unresolved for me. I kept waiting for the caged bird to be freed so that the other birds would would stop attacking the people.

Speaking of birds i keep seeing lately that phenomenon where hundreds of birds swarm, circle and swoop together . Is it Starlings or Swallows? Can't remember. I 've seen them each late afternoon /dusk this week over the park about half mile from my house.Always seems to be this time of year (February) you see it. Great to watch

Starlings I think, I used to see them before doing something similar over a small lake in my town which has an island in the centre of it, I used to love seeing them but if they happened to swoop over your head you would get hit by a lot of bird droppings...

we watched top gun instead on e4 and taped the birds. i've not seen it in yonks either, looking forward to it.
that new fillum with anthony hopkins and co is out this weekend. i read a thing the other day about how hitch had never intended psycho to be taken seriously - which i can kind of believe. it's almost pantomimey in parts, don't you think? or is that because those elements have entered our cultural lexicon?

Don't think i was ever a big fan of Pyscho. Saw it maybe once or twice but it obviously never did much for me. The Birds is better though my favourite scene is actually the opening one in the bird shop with Melanie and Mitch
