No, not according to the liner notes for that album anyway; the "rhyming" Pete Crooks played bass on " The Return Of...". Hooky played bass on 1 track on their " Sex And Death" album from 1995 and toured with them around that time. Edited by user 05 August 2012 12:51:03(UTC)

He played on "The Next Time", but when they did the tour, he added bass to classics off the first album, with "Conduct" in particular sounding HUGE.
The also had several tunes they'd written together just to play live, which were quite, quite lovely.
