As someone who is not too familiar with music production, how far along is the mixing stage in the overall process? Can we expect a release fairly soon?

As someone who is familiar with music production you'd expect a release by springtime at the latest. Just wondering what they're mixing though, single/EP or album. Thing is it's New Order, wouldn't get carried away until we hear something official(release wise). Maybe (hopefully) Mute need to get something out that will shift a few units and keep the cash flow going. I remember Alan Magee saying whenever they needed cash they'd just release product after product to bring in some cash, though that was back in the days when when you could release a Momus album and shift 5-10k units.
