Peter Hook is thanked on the back pages of the album booklit along with pete Townshend, it is a pretty good album and it is free on Itunes for everyone.

Not really interested in the album though it's appeared in my iTunes but i was curious to see the digital booklet just for the fact whenever i've bought a whole album on iTunes i've only ever got the front cover artwork and that's all.Never quite understood that, how even though you've paid in full for the album you don't get the whole booklet in digital format version like you would get the physical version of the booklet if you bought the actual physical CD.Or have i been doing it wrong all these years and all the booklet artwork etc for all the iTunes albums i've ever bought are in fact available to open and view somewhere, somehow on my compooter?

Anyway, somehow i managed to get to somewhere on my laptop with this U2 booklet where i could click for it open and i would be able to view but when i attempted to view in the reader programme on Windows 8 it informs me "file format not supported" or something....

Fair play to U2 though for possibly being the first artist ever to provide a digital version in iTunes of a CD booklet.Don't recall any other artist or record company doing that.

Ah, maybe if i actually downloaded the album from iTunes ( even though it appeared in my iTunes and i could play it i had to still download it) Nope, that didn't work either.Fuck it, who cares.Life's too short to bother with this crap.

The digital version in iTunes of "Bestival" has the full artwork (front cover, back cover, inner pictures etc).

Seems to be a common problem. Fix is to delete the file from your library then go into the Store and redownload it from your 'purchases' section. FWIW

Yeah it's sorted now, thanks.

Just really strange and odd that it's so rare to get a digital version of an album's CD booklet.

Anyone know why he was thanked? Just general greatness or did he do something around this particular album or period in U2's charmed existence?
