This latest plagiarism case is probably another grey area like the Unknown Pleasures Disney t shirt a few years ago. Unless I'm mistaken - like the UP "radio waves" image - the basis of PC&L sleeve isn't really in the band's ownership and so options could be limited: Quote: The cover is a reproduction of the painting "A Basket of Roses" by French artist Henri Fantin-Latour, which is part of the National Gallery's permanent collection in London. (kidding) It is very cheeky though, not much imagination just nicking another band's LP cover from 30 years ago. A lazy/misguided homage perhaps. Yeah this line in the store does suggest it's semi-legit at least. I checked out the band on YouTube and was expecting some electro hipster stuff but erm... it's quite heavy thrash punk. Struggling to hear the NO influence in their music but each to their own The singer has an impressive beard.
