Quite an irritating band back in the day though I didn't mind that song Hold Me Now.

There was that bloody woman who always had the stupid cap on with the ultra long peak .

I'm sure Empress Touch was/ is a massive fan of them.

Though I was a wee-child I actually DO remember Alannah Currie and Joe Leeway (the other two) being annoying; however, Tom Bailey seemed alright. He's IMO a musical genius. I'm not comparing this band to The Smiths, but I am saying a live performance by Tom is one of those New Wave holy grail-type shows most never thought would happen.

It took me a while to like the triplets.

First of all, my older brother bought me the first Ghostbusters movie soundtrack on cassette in 1989. Liked the Ray Parker Jnr, the Bus Boys and (yes), Air Supply tracks, but not In The Name Of Love.

Then I would annoy him by peeling off the art label stickers from his Thompson Twins best-of CD compilation. But by 1997, I loved what was on that brilliant CD - especially the remix of In The Name Of Love: "Get On Down And... PARRR-TEEEE!".

I'd love to think that they could do a comeback, but if Depeche Mode are struggling to be original these days...
Confused
