Just found out that the Charlatans have been added on the same night:

The Charlatans
Röyksopp
New Order
Trentemöller (dj-set)

looks like New Order are on second with The Charlatans headlining Confused could be wrong, I hope I'm wrong ..

I'm on the 8am Eurostar out.

Stopping in the PB Hotel in Lokeren.

To be honest, it's not blessed with hotels!

Like Al says, not exactly a vast choice of places to stay. Middle of nowhere here ...
the Lokeren website gives some suggestions for accommodation.

I'll be halfway through my vacation, camping in the countryside somewhere in the north of Holland. So i've to get hold of a car or something and drive to Lokeren during the day and drive all the way back to my luxurious tent through the nightly hours!
But i think it's totally worth it!!Big Grin

Think it might be nearer £28 but yeah, great value compared to £40 just for NO on their recent UK tour. I saw Royksopp at Get Loaded In The Park, London, back in '09 and they were one of the best things I saw that day. This definitely looks like the best line up of all the days in this fest and it isn't even the most expensive day.
Now if only the travel was cheap and it was easy to get to...

Belgian city festivals are cheaper because it's organized by the cities and not by commercial promoters. So you can calculate the high-margin of those promoters.

set was good, although Mr Sumner was in a foul mood because the projections were only partly visible which looked daft, and that after they spent ages trying to get it working.
Nice to see some familiar faces, and some new ones. Right up at the barrier in front of Gillian, my daughter was well impressed and has developed a serious crush on Tom Smile
