Seriously?

I think it's probably because they weren't lazy or publicity shy. Plus they've written a fair number of catchy songs.

Once you reach a certain level in the music business it really is up to you how big you want to become. My own view is that New Order just couldn't be bothered. And let's face it, if they were that big we wouldn't like them as much.
