Absolutely loved Something Good in 1992. So did everyone at school.
Not so keen on the 2008 versions though... |

I was lucky enough to catch Bowie live back in November '03 ( this gig i think). Gosh over nine years ago now. I really enjoyed it, even some of the stuff from the Reality album. But I have to say I have been disappointed by both of the new tracks he has released recently. I just find my mind wandering. I want to like them but... Edited by user 27 February 2013 12:42:08(UTC)

the sun is shining and i am listening to the best of the popguns and daydreaming of my 2013 adventures in springtime. joyous stuff. they don't make them like this anymore. they sometimes try, the baby popstrels with their fringes, but they cannot. i am also wearing a skirt i made in 1990.
(i am posting this one because i like the lyrics, although i am definitely NOT waiting for the winter. i am waiting, impatiently, for the winter to END.) p.s. nice 'frapp picks, johnny. Edited by user 28 February 2013 03:45:37(UTC)

Yeah, a fine collection of instrumentals alright, pity he seems to be semi-retired now, he has had rotten luck health wise in recent years.

Just spotted this tonight: Simple Minds official website homepageThe new single: Broken Glass Park Anyone who downloaded the free 2011 Stagefright track would probably have feared Jim & Co. were passed their best. I urge you all to have a listen to this, it's going to be a good year... |
