                I don't like them either, but I have yet to find out how to use custom ones as it only suggest to import *.pak files.

                Started to import the old smilies.. still have a hundred to go.. the symbol will change though.. a :lol: is now between brackets.. so    = [ lol ] without spaces. |

                Don't know if this is possible, but is there a way that new members could have to wait and have their first few posts approved by a mod, and only then post whenever they want... That way the spammers wouldn't be able to post anything, unless they were devious enough to pretend to be genuine fans? I know at the moment there are a lot of old NOOLers who have only posted a few, if any messages, but I'm sure people could put up with a bit of a delay on their first few posts appearing to make everything run more smoothly?
