Wasn't expecting much at the start here, though you can hear some Propaganda (The Murder Of Love) in the intro. First impressions were misleading - this is absolutely brilliant! Exactly the dynamic, risk-taking chords and chord-phrases I strive for myself, but rarely achieve. I'd like to think that the young lady wrote the lyrics and some of the melodies herself, but I suspect there's a little SAW in there too!

In other words, good show TBNT! Wink Hi Kiss Big Grin

I was just thinking today of how there used to be a shoegazing revival thread on the old forum which led me to rediscovering Slowdive....

oooh had long forgotten about this cover of LWTUA. Reminds me of dark winters in the early 90s. Covers of LWTUA were extremely rare back then so i took more interest in them, they're ten a penny nowadays. There's another Swans version of this with their male singer on ( can't remember his name) but always preferred this one

A single/track reviewed in today's UK Metro "sounds like Bernard Sumner's soulful, distant cousin" they say. Yeah I can hear that. And I like it.
