Been a NO fan since '83.
Someone bought me tickets for Hookys Movement/PCL gig.
Dont get me wrong, I loved Hooky througout NO, especially THAT LowLife tour, and his star show at Summerpops.
But I'm thinking of doing a no show because I just think it will be really shit and make me sad.
And so does everyone I know.
Sad isnt it?

If it was THAT shit, you could always leave. Nobody makes you stay to the end.
I've been pleasantly surprised whenever I've seen them, and have tickets to see them twice soon. |

The Him sounds so good. Really. But I can't get past hearing the band crash in around him while the bass legend has his hand in the air. When all is said and done, what is the point of Peter Hook if not to play the bass?

I've always gone to PH shows with a feeling than less than excited, but always left excited and extremely happy I went. Don't trust the gut instinct, go, I'm sure it will turn out awesome. Not to mention I would like to here NO with a more rock edge...
I think this works, but only for NO. How many other bands have this contradiction of having a rock edge, but also a dancie electronic flow? NO touring give the Dance flow... but Hooky could give a rocky rendition of the same songs... I'd love to hear both versions... (but I do admit, missing Barney's voice would be sad), but why not pick up Potsy for this than?
