I know this video references New Order, not just from the title but due to the presence of a Blue Monday 12" on the table in front of the presenters. I don't understand Japanese, and YouTube's auto translate subtitles aren't making much sense, so I don't know what they're talking about. Hopefully someone gets something useful from this video.

In season 2, episode 2 of High Potential, a U.S. police procedural show, Bizarre Love Triangle plays a part. A hostage taken by "The Gamemaker" says the words to BLT aloud in her hostage video. Then later, the main character finds the hostage when The Gamechanger somehow plays BLT really loudly when the main character is passing by, so she'll find the hostage. There's also a stripped down cover by Priscilla Ahn at the end. Apparently the producers were "wiling to pay a premium" to be able to use the song. https://www.tvline.com/i...-2-episode-2-1235516815/Edited by user 21 October 2025 10:14:13(UTC)
