I already had a self-made PSB greatest hits album which included all their 80s hits but in the last few months I had been considering buying an original CD. So 2 weeks ago I headed to the mall and visited 2 record shops. There I saw their most recent albums plus 2 greatest hits albums, Discography, which has almost the same track listing as my self-made compilation, and Pop Art, which had several track I had never heard before. I took a risk and bought Pop Art. Having heard the album many times in the past few days I can say that it was a good purchase as really liked most of the songs I had not heard before. Obviously, the best songs are the 80s clasics but they released some really good singles in the 90s and 00s too, my favourite being Se a vida e, Go West, New York City Boy and I Get Along.Plus, my mum and dad liked it too, so its an album that I can listen to in their company, which is great. Its a highly entertaining album and I totally recomend it. Enjoyed watching thisrecently, hope you'll too. (and anybody else who missed it) Thanks for posting it. Ill see it when I have the time. Im kinda busy this days.

The new Deadmau5 album.
Proper mixed bag. Some good, some bad - he should really leave vocalists off his tracks though.

I've heard some Beach House stuff. Yeah kind of liked it, don't know if i'd buy any of it but i liked what i've heard. Listening to First Aid Kit a lot lately. Loving their singing. Blue kind of reminds me a bit of Nico singing with Velvet Underground bu then i listened to some of Nico singing with Velvet Underground and she sounded nothing like them so don't how i came to that idea. Emmylou, Wolf and Lion's Roar getting a lot of plays lately. Country and western twang

Saw First Aid Kit at Brixton Academy supporting Jack White back in June. I wasn't initially thrilled by their less-than-rocking sound, but they kinda grew on me so that by the time they were finishing up I was disappointed to see them go. Edited by user 24 September 2012 13:59:12(UTC)

Hadn't heard this in years. Didn't sound quite as battle rousing as it did back in 1988 but still pretty good

What a forgotten classic that Patti Smith tune is. Wow. Unlocked a memory of driving to work one day in summer 88, i used to pick a couple of workmates up and this came on the radio. A minute or two in we'd in unison decided it was fucking brilliant and were inspired to beat up and overthrow the suits when we got to work. Though we didn't in the end, sadly

I've been litening to Altered Images a lot in the past few days. I discovered them about 2 years ago when I used to listen to an online radio which played 80s music. The first songs of theirs I dowloaded were Happy Birthday and I Could Be Happy, which I liked so much that then I dowloaded everything else I could find in the internet. Altough I have only 9 songs of theirs on my i pod I can say they are one of my favourite bands as I like those 9 songs so much. My favourite one is Don't Talk To Me About Love (I dowloaded the extended mix today and I really liked it). BTW I love Clare Grogan's voice, which many find annoying, including my mother.

I posted this exact video on the French thread for this subject just a few days ago funnily enough. Not that I'm French...

By the way, I didn't mean this thread to be a duplicate with the version on the French language boards; just that I remembered there was a thread like this on the old NOOL BCD boards. (And I don't speak French so I would feel hesitant to post on the French language thread.)'Bad Communication' by B'z
