Any ideas on how we attract everyone else back. There is not a single post regarding the Glasgow and Edinburgh gigs which feels strange?

Now there's the old forum as well as this new one people can't make up their mind which one to post in and end up not posting in either?

For Edinburgh, swap Krafty for 1963, venue better in Edinburgh, crowd better in Glasgow. . . |

Glasgow was good. Barney had problems with feedback in his earpiece during the first few songs. When that was sorted out he was his cheerful old self. Here To Stay sounds great live. Was hoping for R&R, but happy with 1963. Nice dancing in front of the stage. Saw a guy getting very emotional over the band. The big blowup microphone is very annoying though. More in Dutch. Loved Jez Kerr. They didn't get the reaction they diserved. Even thought they played Shack Up an 24 Hours. Saw Happy mondays the night before. Now that 's another story. Very bad sound, karaoke-style singing. A band cashing in. Didn't do it for me. Very disappointing. Edited by user 09 May 2012 01:32:50(UTC)

The layout of this new forum is ugh.
Can't we have the black skin back and some nice white larger default font? |

Only thing I don't like about this site is that I have to log in just about every time I visit - was always logged in on the previous one. Is that a browser setting maybe?

Im sorry for the guys that worked hard to set this forum up but I prefer the original site. one reason, less hassle logging in all the time.

well, you could just use a browser that saves your password for you (like chrome, or IE).. firefox probably has it also..
anyways, it's not that hard to login..
also, the posts about live stuff are probably talked about in the live section.. not in the general area..
later -1

later -1 i am using a browser (chrome) with that feature. oddly, out of dozens of sites that do remember my name and pass, only this site requires me to login every visit. what are you using, -1, that lets you not have to login every time? |

If you choose "remember" at login, you shouldn't have to login every time. This forum is more state of the technique than the old one. It shouldn't be a problem to have a nearly same design as the rest of the website. It's only will have be done. |

hey man, ok, just to get with the times.. new forum, new browsers, etc... i'll forgo posting in a tiny little box, and actually use up all the full width of the screen! i am using the latest version of chrome (version 19).. usually a option comes up to save the password / login information .. but for this site, i use the 'save login' option on the page.. and after i login.. i bookmarked the forum. and am able to get to the board without having to login again. i haven't messed around with any of the security options, but that may be impacting people also. later -1 *UPDATE : it looks like the login is only good for one day, so maybe it is a cookie issue. hopefully it will be fixed Edited by user 23 May 2012 09:03:34(UTC)
