Hidden amongst the RSD24 list... https://recordstoreday.c...asty%20Fish%20Remix%20EPProbably just a (transparent blue!) re-press of FAC 329 (?) - but doesn't list the actual remixes, just TBC. Maybe they'll include all of the mixes from FACD 329. Maybe a new one (wishful). D

Well NO have posted about it on Twitter and FB. Opening up the larger image from FB (and zooming in) we see a tracklist on the label of: 1 Pascal Mix 12" 5:16 2 OT Mix 3:37 3 The Almond Slice Mix 4:26 They seem to have it as FAC 329 A, and Factory Communications printed on the label (if it's real, it may be a mock-up). It's not clear how those tracks are split on the two sides of vinyl, or if they're all on one side.
Facebook image embedded Or facebook image linkEDIT: Stephen has replied to a tweet saying: it's 3 tracks on one side and 2 on the other. So we know the 3 tracks on one side, as above. The remaining 2 tracks are, I suspect: Pascal Mix (short version) OT Mix 12" Edited by user about a year ago

Sory to hear you didn't like it. Shall we embed it? I think yes.
I like the way Gurnsey has de-cluttered the track and moved the synth bass forward in the mix. That synth bass reminds me of something - besides the orginal - but I can't quite put my finger on what exactly. I'm generally not a fan of stutttered or chopped up vocals. At the risk of sounding fussy, I like some of the stuttered vox here but not the bit where "about" gets stuttered and messed around - at 4:51 and 4:59 and 5:06 and 5:14 for example. The snare/clap feels a little dated perhaps for a 2024 remix. Although you could argue that there's no point in trying to make an early 90s track sound completely "2024". Overall I quite like it. Definitely got to the end, and will play again.

It seems fairly typical of what I've heard from him as he's not really a "pop" remixer.

I quite like this mix, actually.
Has anyone acquired it digitally or ripped it lossless?

Here's a rip I did from vinyl the first time I played it. It's completely clean, with no pops or crackles. LINKIt includes WAV, AAC, and a hi-res scan of the artwork, which is subtly different than the original 1991 sleeve.

For those interested, the Gabe Gurnsey Remix has been officially released in digital form: https://www.qobuz.com/gb-en/albu...-other-two/o8wc97pktsagahttps://www.junodownload.com/pro...urnsey-remix/6630985-02/https://uk.7digital.com/artist/t...e-gurnsey-remix-41557384Or if you have a streaming subscription it's probably already available in your app. A shame they didn't reissue the entire EP in digital, but you can't have everything...

Arrived surprisingly intact. Could you please rip the O.T.Mix 7"? Never heard that one. Originally Posted by: 50poundnote Here's a rip I did from vinyl the first time I played it.
