Well of course, it's "git". But round my way people often pronounce it "get".But only in the instance where someone has got lucky. If someone was regarded as horrible then they'd be " that 'orrible git". But if there is touch of envy over someone's good fortune then it's "get". Maybe it's just a Midlands thing.
