Negative1's recent informative posts has kindled a bit of curiosity on things I have / had in my possession at one time or another.

Here's a bit of an oddity.
Anyone got this?:

https://www.discogs.com/...onfusion/release/1715298

Available in six snazzy colours - blue, red, purple, yellow, dark green and lime green (the only one I own*).
It's single single-sided too, with no groove on the reverse.

It features an exclusive edit of the song, clocking in at 3:38.

I really can't remember what's different about the mix, and don't currently have a turntable to check. However, I'm convinced it is different from the standard UK promo 7", and probably not just a slightly earlier fade.

I don't suppose anyone has a vinyl rip of it that they could furnish me with. It has been probably 30+ years since I last played it and it'd be nice to hear it again. (I really need to get a turntable).

* At least I think it's the only one I own. I have a distinct memory of having a purple one in my hands (steady, Michael) at some point. Perhaps that too is in a box somewhere. I need to get organised.

there is a purple one on discogs, i was thinking about.

maybe the other colors will show up again someday.

i'll try to rip this one for you.

I have the green one too. It's the regular 7" with an early fade.

Thanks. That’s good to know, although a little disappointing. I think I’d convinced myself it was an exclusive mix.

Still, will be interesting to hear.

I have Blue, Green, Lime, and Purple.

Always wondered if the Marbled was just a pressing error.

Red and Yellow are dastardly hard to get.

Think I even have two Greens, if anyone wants a trade.

This one is the big Confusion rarity, an exclusive edit of the Instrumental. I can only presume they were going to use it as the B side to the promo 7" but didn't, so repeated the A side instead.

I think I have an mp3 of that mix somewhere.

Didn’t realise the vinyl was that rare. 10 copies according to Discogs. Crikey!
