As some of you will know, Denise didn't just appear on NO and Electronic records but was a fan too. Just last week she was gushing about Getting Away With It on TOTPS2 on twitter. She would tell funny anecdotes about Bernard and his Tom Selleck fibs etc. A friendly lady who often followed us NO/Primals fans back no matter how obscure we were. I'm shocked because I didn't see this coming. Maybe someone else knows more than me about how she died. Maybe it's not my business. I still can't believe it. Rest in peace, Denise. A really sad day. You can't imagine all those songs she sang on across the decades without those unmistakable vocals enhancing them; from Electronic, Primal Scream right through to ACR. I would encourage anyone who was a fan of her work to buy her upcoming solo album. I have. The last time I saw her sing live was with ACR in west London last year. Rest in peace.

Only saw her with ACR last December she was on fine form and looked great. Another sad loss for music but even more so as she was relatively young and seemed so full of life

Loved her vocals on Screamadelica and she lifted Electronic's Get The Message to great heights, her vocals on that song were incredible , really made the track. I'm shocked and gutted. RIP Denise.
