That's completely stupid.
Pan left...now pan right...now pan left again!

It's better without. There was an interesting Suede interview where it was pointed out that their Bsides were as good as their Asides and they said that's cos they don't have an A / B side mentality (take note, Blur): Asides just work better alone and albums come about because they have a sense of structure. Paradoxically the Japanese versions with extra tracks were better value for money but less satisfying. McCartney albums actually sound worse when the bonus editions add Bsides, like when Substance goes from LWTUA to that punk din Whoresaw. I prefer Band on the Run without Helen Wheels, which is a fun single but slows the climatic second half. Edited by user 05 June 2020 00:32:09(UTC)

Know what you mean, but I treat the JD 'Substance' like a 2 CD compilation squeezed into 1 CD. As with NO's 'Substance' (The World's Best Album), the A side sequence has had many more plays than the B's - although all are great. Edited by user 05 June 2020 08:52:28(UTC)

Alternatively stand in the middle of a car park and get a friend to drive around you in a circle with Blue Monday blasting out their window
