Just to let people know that the two Other Two albums are due for re-release imminently.

These will now be on the Factory Benelux label (last time they were released they were on sister label LTM).

Track-wise, both editions are identical to their previous re-release (I think) containing 6 and 3 bonus tracks apiece.

However, you can opt to expand either LP to include a bonus CD called 'The Other Disc'. This contains the 8 tracks that were initially available on the 'Anna + Peter Swing Project 1' LP + CD. It also contains the difficult to find 'Satisfied' track, which was only available on the US 12" of 'Innocence' (a rather nice little song).
This extra disc is available for an additional £9, but is only available if you buy either LP (at £10 each).

Also worth noting is that it appears the original cover for the 'The Other Two & You' album has been restored (based on the picture on the website). When it was released on the LTM label back in 2010, they substituted the cover for the picture that was on the 'Tasty Fish' single, which I always thought was a bit of an odd choice. It would be nice if they would replicate the 'mirror' cover that the initial CDs came with back in 1993.

I kind of wish they'd have freshened up the bonus tracks a little, just to make it worth getting if you have the previous reissues.
I also wish they'd have included the tracks from the 'O2 Bonus CD' that was given away back in 2010 if you ordered both re-releases from LTM. There's a handful of rare remixes on both that CD and on initial single releases that they could have used to augment the CDs, namely:

<><><><><><><><>Warning - Trainspotter Territory - Warning<><><><><><><><>

Tasty Fish (Pascal Mix)
Tasty Fish (OT Mix)
Tasty Fish (OT Mix 12")
Tasty Fish (K-Klass Pharmacy Dub)
Selfish (East Village Vocal)
Selfish (East Village Dub)
Movin' On (Waterfront Mix)
Movin' On (Pascal Gabriel Mix)
Movin' On (Sawdust version)
Innocence (Love To Infinity's Deep Love 12" Mix)
Innocence (Love To Infinity's Deep Dub)
You Can Fly (Single Version)
You Can Fly (Radio Edit)
You Can Fly (Quake Vocal Mix)
You Can Fly (Quake Dub)
You Can Fly (Cevin Fisher's Frequent Flyer Dub)
Super Highways (Single Version)
Autosound

To be fair though, I can't remember any of these being 'essential'.

Anyway, if you don't own either LP or the 'Swing Project' thing, this is a pretty good way to get them.

I'm not sure exactly when the reissues are out, but I think it is imminent and FBN are taking pre-orders.

These are out now, and reviewed in issue 64 of Electronic Sound.

Worth noting that these are the same masters LTM used for their 2010 reissues (James Nice confirmed this to me today). A new remaster was apparently discussed, but the band were too busy.

Are the LTM masters different from (and superior to) the original CDs?
