scanned each page of the book,
and used scan tailor to crop, clean up, and color correct each page.
then assembled all the jpgs, into an animated GIF,
then also created an AVI video for youtube, and added sound.
not that hard.
article of book, and they used my video link:
https://flashbak.com/fac...ay-flipbook-1988-412085/This brilliant cultural artefact was illustrated by two Americans: the avant-garde filmmaker and conceptualist Robert Breer (September 30, 1926 – August 11, 2011) and photographer Wiliam Wegman (born 1943). It’s bound so that the book slants to the left to enable easy flipping. On the front wrapper, in brightly colored titles, are the well wishers, including New Order, Fay, Breer, and Wegman. Only 350 were made, of which 250 were distributed.
ridiculously expensive copy for UKP 1000, in an auction, or sale:

Crisp, clean copy, bumped corners. Rare. Matthew Robertson -Factory Records. The Complete Graphic Album, p149.
The full inscription, in white Tipp-Ex, on the lower board, reads:
"Happy New Year Bob Breer".
"Typically for Factory they went to great - some mighy say ridiculous - expense specifying at least six spot colours in addition to four-colour printing for the front cover" (op. cit.).
back in 2008, one sold for $50, with 2 bids on it.
