Its been discussed to death but I watched it again last night for the first time in a while so...
I loved it. Again. Its wildly innacurate, populated with too many comedians and its got The Jam in it (wankers) but its hearts in the right place. I didnt realise it when I started the DVD off but it was the first time Id watched it since we lost Tony Wilson which gave the final Hacienda scene a bit more punch. Aah, well.

I still haven't see it yet. I caught a preview of it and it had a flying saucer in the air. That kind of turned me off about the whole thing. Make no mistake - love sci-fi. I just questioned the tone of the film. Is it satirical, or (as you say) wildly inaccurate? I know Mr. Wilson was a bit eccentric... |

Theres a line in the film where Wilson is accused of taking himself too seriously, well, this film doesnt.

it does have a cunt in it, yes. and a ho. and a special problem named after it too. we not only have a train station, but in 2005 the loos on platform one were voted the best station toilets in britain by the british toilet association. we try to be modest about it.
