I have a cheap day ticket for this if anyone wants it. It was an early-bird, so £35 (now £45 plus booking etc). It's an eticket so easily transferable. PM me if you want it. Cheers. |

The first reviewer from Efestivals just sounds like a twat who lost interest and switched off after The Specials: I can't have thought Terry Hall was in a particularly better voice than Bernard, maybe he should stick to old man ska shows ( I went to the Hyde Park show in 2012 and went home after NO, i had no interest in listening to Ghost Town after queueing an hour for a drink)

I thought they were brilliant! 13th time I think since first saw them at Reading in 1993 and last 3 times (Victorious, Alexandra Palace and Brixton) came away thinking Bernard's voice was better than ever so don't understand that review. Wish I could have seen them in 80's where you didn't know what you were going to get but think they're much better live now compared to say gigs supporting Get Ready and Sirens. As for Victorious I was dead central and close to stage which was a result and you had space to move.

In the 80’s, their performance may have been erratic and uneven, but was certainly unpredictable hence more thrilling than these days. Less slick, too. |
