Wotcha! Just heard these for the first time:
I vaguely remember them being a thing, but don't think I heard any of them back in the day. They were featured on the Mark & Lard Show back in 1993, I think. Maybe on BBC Radio 5. Anybody know how many 'episodes' there were, broadcast dates etc? Is the above clip missing any of them?

They were great. Used to love them on their afternoon show on Radio 1. Dobbin or Bobbin, Fat Harry White etc. Great stuff. I also loved their breakfast show and was very disappointed when stupid Radio 1 listeners just ‘didn’t get it’ and they were forced out.
Found out that these were on the ‘Hit The North’ programme, which was broadcast on Radio 5 (before it became Radio 5 Live) every Wednesday.
Think the ‘Cook With Hook’ segments were broadcast during May, June and August. Maybe July as well.
Not sure if they were one a week or not.
Would be interested to hear any of the others not featured above.
