Cool. When was the last time they played Bristol? 1984?
Liking the new publicity photo.

Yep - 1984. Unless you count Bristol, Connecticut in 1989 ;-)
Yeah - loving the promo photo too. Very cool.
I'll probably give this gig a miss. Not that I don't want to go; I just need to prioritise other stuff and it's very close to BlueDot.

Brilliant. Went to this last year when smart Chain, Bunneymen and Hooky played. Good night out Bristol. Definitely going to this rather than blue dot for me.

Got my tickets for this was in a queue of 1500 people online but it was a smooth system and worked quickly.
Let’s hope we get at least one new track aired on these gigs but I do doubt it.
2011 reformed 2012 tour the greatest hits celebration of being back together 2013-2014 recording MC one off gigs such as Jodrell Bank 2015 and 16 - tour to promote MC 2017 special MiF shows, all the work that went into setting it up etc 2018/19 playing old tracks again influenced by MiF shows such as VP ultra violence, sub culture 2019/20 hopefully recording new tracks maybe an album that due to their ages will be the last?
Let’s hope I’m right and possibly like they did with plastic and singularity at least one new tune makes the set list.

Lonelady as support I’m well happy about that. She was excellent a few years ago when she supported new order at Catlefields

Anyone got a spare ticket? Looking for 2 but will take 1!
Will be my 50th NO gig if I manage to get a ticket.
Cheers,
Pete

Another great review.
The Order appear to be hitting these gigs out of the park. Good stuff. Roll on Sunday and bluedot.

I went and can confirm the Bristol post review is spot on. Doesn’t look the most inspiring of set lists but it was another truly brilliant new order night. New order are definitely improving on their Joy Division songs. On the recent so it goes release all the JD tracks sound great as well.
A few people I spoke to at the gig had never seen NO before so I can see why they still want to play all their major tracks. bS is really at the top of his game at the moment. I just hope they take this new found energy into studio for a new release
