FageOner has just uploaded a great quality version of the above performance. One that includes the Bob Greaves introduction and Tony Wilson outro that I've read about but never seen before. It's well worth checking out:

Man, I love that Shadowplay performance. Barney and Hooky look so damn cool; the latter motionless from the waist down, hammering the bass and swaying along, the former almost dancing as he delivers a fantastic guitar performance.
I've always thought that JD hit everything they did out of the park first time (first LP, first single etc.) and this first TV performance is no exception. Bloody brilliant!

While I think about it, does anyone know why the archive footage shown in the recent Decades documentary was so Low Def? The Granada Reports footage, The Perfect Kiss video etc. Sorry for having to post three messages to make my point - the board is still being screwy with me and I have to edit and reformat everything to stop it getting treated as spam.
