I picked up Frank Arkwright's 2015 remaster of Low-Life on vinyl, but the download code provided is for Joy Division's Closer. I've emailed the label, but 5 days later I've not had a response. Does anyone have this download they'd be willing to share? Edited by user 15 August 2017 16:37:55(UTC)

I picked up the 1983 version of Blue Monday but the B-side didn't have The Beach, it was side two of Closer. I contacted the label but they said: f**k off we're Factory and we went bust years ago. Bastards.

I'm not even sure if the Get Ready remastered was done by Frank..? Anyone able to confirm this? ...so this completist can sleep well... |

The 2015 remasters of the first five have only been released digitally so far. The vinyl is the 2008 mastering.

I've never fathomed the mystique around this'un. The first side is awesome but 4 songs are hardly 'The White Album', and what they do to TPK is a disgrace. Side 2 is boring - then average - then about jerking off - and finally one of the messiest, crappest songs they ever made. Give me Technique, PCL and Melanie C's shoulderblades.

The MIF issue of PCL on silver vinyl may have been remastered by Frank Arkwright - the run-off groove has 'Frank - Metropolis' on it. |
