No, the samples are still there, but strangely some computers don't get the access to them. My first trying was with a Google Chrome in my Macbook but unsuccessful, then I tried again in my old desktop PC and I finally got it. I had a general good impression. I disagree with the opinion which "Restless" is far bottom compared with the other tracks. To me that song is really good and it is one of the best ones of the album. The others that seem really good to me are "Singularity", "Plastic", "Stray Dog", "Academic" and "Nothing But a Fool". Great songs apparently. "Tutti Frutti"... eh, not such a great thing as everybody says. And "People on the High Line" sounds a lot like Electronic. Ok, it seems good, enjoyable and really interesting but not "their-best-album-since-Technique" as the papers said. Edited by user 15 September 2015 18:38:30(UTC)

These sound fucking fantastic! If these short snippets give any indication, this will be a better LP then WFTSC, Get Ready, and Republic, putting it right there behind Technique.
Seriously, these clips sound fucking good.

The last five seconds of the Nothing But A Fool clip remind me of the Nirvana-ish sounding sample on The Prodigy's Breathe (which might be a John Barry sample, according to Google, though I'm not convinced). I.e. the bit at about 1.11 here:

I kind of hear that, but also the same bit of Nothing but a Fool that you're talking about reminds me of Primitive Notion (a little).

The previews didn't appear when I was using firefox but then I tried chrome and there they were! It sounds as though there are stronger tracks on the album than both Plastic and Restless, People On The High Line sounded very like Electronic to me around the time of Raise The Pressure, the last track Superheated sounds lovely, getting excited now. Superheated does sound epic! Really enjoying Plastic too. Wasn't that keen on Restless but after a lot of listens it's slightly grown on me. As an earlier poster said on main album thread it seems like something for pretty much all fans.

Don't know what to make of most of those. Can't really get a handle on any of them except Superheated which surprises me as i thought Academic and Singularity would have been the standout clips. You can almost hear where the melody and song is going on the Superheated clip whereas the rest aren't served well (i hope, if you get what i mean) by short 30 second clips.Plus the sound quality on the clips sounded pretty crap in my opinion.I'm not sure 30 second clip previews of album songs are a very good idea really. Can make a song sound much worse than it is.
The Japanese bonus track Restless extended clip appears to have a guitar part i haven't heard before unless i'm mistaken.Guess that's the extra long extended version that will feature on the deluxe box set?
So really, a nervy week or so ahead while us fans wait to see if we agree or not with all the incredibly rave reviews.

I'm impressed so far on hearing the 30 sec clips and can't wait for the album. I feel the rave reviews will prove justified and this could easily be their best work since technique. It's nice to see a return to more synth driven songs and good to get away from the Rock the shack or working overtime dad rock.
Also there seems to be a lot of variety on this album. WFTSC didn't do anything for me (it was too Loud and had no space), GR was pretty solid and Republic was a bit stale.
I don't mind the female vocals and looking forward to hearing Iggy and Brandon on this one. Sometimes I can't handle a whole album of Barneys vocals in one go anyway.
Plastic has chemical brothers written ll over it, with all their trademark studio tricks. Academic could be the albums Turn.

Someone on the 'Plastic' thread said: Is Plastic produced by Tom Rowlands or Stuart Price? My understanding is that Tom Rowlands worked on 'Singularity' and 'Unlearn This Hatred', with a small contribution to Tutti Frutti (the Italian voice). Whilst Stuart Price worked on Superheated. Also, Richard X was the man charged with doing the 'extending' for the 8 piece vinyl. As far as I know, nobody has stated that any producers worked on Plastic or indeed any of the other tracks besides those mentioned above. EDIT well Richard X and Pete Hoffman were involved in mixing Plastic.. But that's not quite the same thing as creating the sounds as far as I know. No mention of the Chems. Daniel Miller is Exec Producer for the album so this could be a New Order-Daniel production collaboration.

Everything sounds really positive though...
