Yup, Twenty Four Hours is a great riff.

One of those JD tracks I keep coming back to (the Peel session too).

That confirms the Technique, Substance, and Republic shows. WOT no One True Passion, or Monaco or Music For Pleasure tour?

At last the Man confirms it New order split up in 2006, phew, he realy has been holding that one back.

Did anyone else notice that he credited LWTUA's lyrics to Bernard? Strange slip.

When the bunnymen played crocodiles and heaven up here live a few years ago it was because there was nothing interesting that was new . Same for Peter. It is normal for everyone but a few to depend on the past For live shows .Bernard seems to be one in a zillion that puts great songs together after he gets older. Maybe because it is his passion to excel.

i was blessed to speak with steven and gillian briefly about peter de freitas , the bunnies phenomenal percussionist . i spoke with les pattison long, long ago (1990) and i got the idea that he was ready to quit, wanting to be around for his family . i always thought ian would keep up with bernard , but 'get ready' and 'wftsc', and' bad lieutenant' are all great, and 'siberia',' fountain', 'meteorites' are not. but, there is so much that is great from the bunnymen and ian and will and les and peter it hardly matters . new order , meanwhile just keeps eclipsing everyone, and the bunnies are still bigger than every other band from the 80's, except new order. oh, and will is one of my 6 favorite great guitarists that i have had the privilege and been blessed to have spoken to. ian still smokes too much, and for all my attempts to get him to play 'gods will be gods' or 'antelope', over the years, he would just laugh, say maybe or possibly , but he was very cordial after i showed him the old nme article and photo of him and bernard in southern cal. i wish them all enormous happiness, because that is what they all gave me.

For me: The Fountain > Waiting for the Sirens' Call > Get Ready > Siberia = Bad Lieutenant > Meteorites.

electafixion type songs could have saved the bunnies this century, and 'evergreen' was good, but 'what are going to do with the rest of your life' only had 2 great songs , then 'slideling' was dreadful, ' flowers' was fine, and everything since i doubt i will ever even try to listen to again, they hurt so much. 21st century new order/bl is approaching the 2000 listens per song that 'pc&l','brotherhood', 'republic', 'substance', and 'technique' reached long ago, . and 10000 listens without getting bored is not out of the realm of possible. 20th century new order did have some 'lowlife' side 2 songs, and some of 'movement' that is not so hot.

I know we're straying off topic here but we'll have to agree to disagree. I love What Are You Going to Do with Your Life?

I also think most of the Electrafixion stuff sounded a bit desperate and forced. How applying industrial and grunge elements to the Bunnymen sound would help them now is unfathomable to me.
