I assume they will keep playing Movement/PCL shows up until then
But saw on Hooky's sites today that they will start Low Life and Brotherhood in Sept '14
Has potential to be a truly amazing show - their Movement/PCL set is simply phenomenal
Hooky proved A LOT of people wrong with this tour, I say go him
AND another GREAT poster too, whoever does his tour posters is really clever.

From his site:

PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT ANNOUNCE DEBUT PERFORMANCES OF NEW ORDER'S 'LOW LIFE' & 'BROTHERHOOD' WITH SPECIAL MANCHESTER & LONDON CONCERTS, SEPTEMBER 2014...

Following on from the success of their critically acclaimed tour performing New Order's 'Movement' and 'Power, Corruption & Lies' live, Peter Hook & The Light have today announced plans to perform the band's next two albums, 1985's 'Low Life' and 1986's 'Brotherhood' live and in full for the first time ever in September 2014 at their biggest ever UK shows to date in Manchester & London:

September 25th 2014 - The Ritz, Manchester

September 27th 2014 - O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London

Both shows will feature the two albums performed live and in their entireties alongside all of the relevant singles & B-sides from the corresponding period of the band's history...

Hooky & The Light will also act as their own support band at both concerts, performing a specially selected set of Joy Division songs...

The band are proud to once again be supporting two great charities with these special gigs - the ticket price includes a charitable donation to both MIND & Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy...

Tickets for both shows will be on sale from Friday 29th November 2013 at 9am.

So, by reckoning we've only got just less than two years before the Technique/Republic double-header when we can all enjoy Hooky rapping "In a manger like christ I lay, yellow fever, yellow hay". I hope Jack can do justice to the lovely backing vocals on 'Liar' too.

Technique/One True Passion would be the next pairing. Tough second act...

Maybe Technique with True Faith, 1963, Blue Monday88, World in Motion, Regret would make a good show, that would be 14 good songs... ignore the rest of Republic, Hooky has even stated that "real" New Order was dead by then. Why should he play songs that are essentially solo Bernard?

Then maybe a "best of" of Revenge, thou I doubt that would excite many. This whole album idea falls apart around this time with One True Passion and Republic. The Revenge EP?

He could do a Monaco revival thou I can't believe he could do a real tour based on Monaco. Then maybe Hooky do a tour based on his versions of the songs from last decade. I don't know what the point would be to play all of them.

I think Hooky probably should not bother with the post Factory era, at least on touring.

Substance plus Technique... Or Technique plus Republic? Gosh that's a toughie.
Substance then Technique
One True Passion then Peel Sessions
BBC 1 Live in Concert then Republic
Best Of then Rest Of...
Anyway I'm thrilled the current tour's hitting Rome next February.

Good point. Maybe The Light could tour Wheels Over Indian Trails with Melanie C on vocals. Quite honestly I was sceptical about the Light at first but the gigs are always great so as far as I'm concerned they can do what the fuck they like and it'll be a top night out anyway. Give Revenge a miss though?

Eh? In every interview I've read Hookys stated he wanted to do all the New Order albums, not frig about with generally unloved vanity projects.

While his focus is currently on the New Order output, he's stated numerous times that his goal is to perform every song he's ever written/recorded.

Nice poster indeed...

I also read in many interviews that he would want to do the whole stuff New Order ever recorded. But is it really necessary to play "Republic", "Get Ready" and "Sirens" entirely?
Confused
