Anyone remember Sapphire And Steel? That was a fucking great series.Late 70s ultra weirdness and surrealism with Joanna Lumley as Sapphire and David McCallum as Steel. God they had some mind bending tales . Seem to recall the series' last ever episode ending with our two heroes being trapped forever floating in space, never to be resolved. Beat that "Sapphire and Steel have been assigned"

Factory™ wrote:There's a soundtrack album for Eraserhead? God , wouldn't that consist of just industrial factory noise drone, loud gas radiators and malformed babies crying ? Ha! well said. You know the way there are some movies that you can watch again and again? Well Eraserhead isn't one of them for me. I never want to see that film again. There should be some sort of "about-to-be-parental" warning on that film for expectant mothers. It could really put you off. Edited by user 02 October 2013 13:22:23(UTC)

First time I watched it was sometime in the 80s when Channel 4 showed it late one night. I found it the darkest and weirdest film I'd ever seen in my life. Then didn't see it again until I bought a VHS copy around 1995 which I still have . Will have to watch it again one evening to see if it still has the same effect on my senses.

This turned out to be the song of the weekend. Was this a hit? If not, why? This goes out to my Portuguese neighbours who probably had to suffer it at 3am this morning when me and my mate Tony got back from a night out in town and played it really bloody LOUD

I reckon it's a video/radio edit. The album is out next month so there may be a longer version on there. You'll probably be tired of it by then though... Album version is indeed longer according to Discogs, though I can't find it uploaded to tinternet yet. There are some nice remixes though by: Andrew WeatherallFuck ButtonsTRUSTto name but a few Edited by user 10 October 2013 13:06:53(UTC)

I always think of this Doves cover of Willow's Song as an autumnal song. Not sure if the original was meant to be as The Wicker Man was set in May wasn't it? Think the film's recently been re released.

Found and listened to it just now on Spotify. Yeah it's great. Extended sequences obviously ( longer guitar part in the middle and stuff) Also seemed to be an extra verse and lyrics in places.
