I think these pictures on the sleeve would have looked good with the title on it, they are taken from the Bestival new order concert.

I like this one, particularly:

checked out the samples, and my god, Here to Stay sounds so muscular. Loved it live last year in Oakland and am kind of hoping it gets added back to the rotation this summer.

Well, the length could be an issue...maybe they couldn't fit the entire setlist on one disc, and maybe it's also not enough material for a 2 disc set, either. A bit surprised and disappointed that 'Crystal' isn't on there, but I'm not a fan of 'Ceremony' and 'Age Of Consent', so I don't mind too much.

New Order - 586 'Live at Bestival 2012'

http://soundcloud.com/su...er-586-live-at-bestival/

Personally 586 from the Troxy gig sounds much better than Bestival.

So it's become apparent to me that it's already out in Japan and Germany, and my country (Ausralia) is getting it a week late aswell as digital only. (as far as I can tell)
I've tried for ages to buy a digital copy somehow from the other countries and it seems impossible.

It's really annoying.
I wish someone would just put out a torrent of it. After all the band aren't getting any profits from it so who cares.

I'd listen to the free official stream, but since it's on Sound Cloud it's been butchered down to 128kbps.
I'd be better off listening to bootlegs.

It's an ordinary CD case and not Digipak. I was surprised that there even is a JP edition, but somebody on Twitter told me that the Japanese record company that distributed it sold a Live At Bestival album for The Cure last year, and maybe they thought they could have a go distributing this one.

Really good [except the package]... But I miss "Crystal", "Ceremony" and "AoC"...

"Isolation" on "Bestival" sounds much better than "3 16" / "Crystal" japanese EP version.

And "Here to Stay" live sounds superb. Nod

I knew the difference even in the streaming provided by The Guardian. Unfortunately, I live in Brazil, so I was unable to access the Audiorip version from Amazon-UK when I purchased the CD.

I saw this CD in HMV Oxford Circus today. Digipack sealed in cellophane. I suspect it doesn't even fold out like the Troxy one does, as it's only one CD.

I didn't buy it; got the new albums from The National and QOTSA instead.
If anyone knows of a source nearer (to the UK/Europe) than Japan that has this in Jewel Case format, please let me know.

I got my copy yesterday from HMV in Plymouth. It comes in a digipak, which strangely enough has space for 2 CD's, yet of course this album is only a single disc edition! I thought there would be a little booklet or something hidden in the spare bit, but there wasn't one! So basically if you've got any CD's who don't have a box, you could stick it in there for safekeeping etc!

Anyway, it did make it into the UK albums chart this week at #89. http://www.officialcharts.com/albums-chart/

Is it me or was LWTUA more heavy on the guitars rather than bass at the start?!

Just a thought on initial listening!

Nice to have another Live album though :-)
