I guess you're referring to the bass. Presumably that's your own bass added. I can't hear it in the original mix but I could be mistaken...

Im not a musician by any means..played bass in a few bands that's about it. I was listening to our local dj Johnny normal and he played this song by Analog Angel....immediately I went to soundcloud and listened to it a lot more and then paid for the "pride" ep. Very uncaracterisicaly, I contacted the band and asked if someone with no musical experience / studio knowledge or kudos would be allowed to remix their song. I cacked myself when they said yes...floored me honestly. Luckily im currently in a band and our guitarist is a composer and studio producer....I explained what I wanted to do with the song and I had a bassline already...I was going to completely remove the middle 8 keyboard lines and replace it with a "perfect kiss" style electro drum fest.....but it just seemed to work as we played with the track in the studio.Sam wale is a death metal style guitarist , and I explained what I wanted on the guitar..when he played it my jaw hit the floor...it was as if Gillian Gilbert was in the room... When it was finished I immediately contacted Johhny Normal (who is a big Analogs fan) and asked his opinion...it was astounding...then the band themselves got in touch and my head was spinning...everyone seemed to really enjoy it...johnny asked me to name the remix...he said it should be the lockhart/wale remix, but I didn't want our names on it as im very reserved and quiet.....so the first thing that popped into my head was AOC...as it it has a twangy Reverence to peter hook...couldn't be called KW1 or YSF as its too upbeat...I just wanted to give a clue to other new order fans that a real new order fan was behind this remix ....Analog Angel are a really cool and generous bunch of lads and im gonna be playing this live with them in the new year I hope. a very kind and crazy fella has done a video as well...thanks Andy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdXOsbay6c4 Edited by user 13 May 2013 05:45:06(UTC) \| Reason: Not specified
