Out at age 87. Now being touted as the best postwar prime minister, though some quarters still have a loathing, love or hate she was some formidable person.
State of the Nation.

Whatever you think of Thatcher - and I wasn't a fan - I wouldn't wish a stroke on anyone.
I hope none of you would either... |

she destroyed millions of lives, and her legacy continues to do so.
i won't shed a tear for her, but i will save my dancing in the street for when thatcherism is dead.

No tears here. Wasn't someone going to release some song or something on news of her death...? |

Ive seen some of the piccies of people having parties in town centres celebrating her death but could someone tell me why the fuck most of the partygoers appeared to be young enough to be either very small children at the time of her reign or not even born at all. Thats what pisses me off, knobheads like that. If you believe Thatcher made life hard for you then I can respect your feelings today, she destroyed and destroyed. If you went to one of these things because of Twitter or Facebook and it sounded like a laugh then go and fuck yourselves. And before anyone makes the comment that you didnt need to be alive during the 30s/40s to know that Hitler was a bad 'un - Not The Same. Edited by user 09 April 2013 00:06:49(UTC)

Thatcher has only been in hell a few days but has already closed down 20 furnaces.

had to smile today when my brother pointed out that we've had Thatcher dying and now Ferguson retiring in the space of a month. So quite a good few weeks, really.

there's a gag along these lines doing the rounds on twitter: "first thatcher dies, then fergie retires - somewhere there's a scouser with a lamp and one wish left."
