It looks to me like a file sharing platform for industry people The files on this "playlist" have obviously been gathered by *someone* with a subscription and put up for download. If it was a Warners site, there is no way they'd allow these to be free downloads

of course its legitimate: https://www.wmg.com/https://www.disco.ac/sig...rQ9f9HKdK7M%253Ab6EnfZ2fhttps://www.disco.ac/so what if it is for industry sharing. if it wasnt meant to be public, they would have login screens, etc, which they do for DISCO, later | | || | | ne gative 1 Edited by user 10 June 2025 07:02:53(UTC)

I feel like you could be right, just after a cursory listen of some of the tracks there seems to be the siblance and tinny drum sounds that are telltales from using that kind of software

The Pennine LWTUA is the only one they seemed to have done at the time (there's a tape in the archive with it on).

This seems like the sensible answer, alright. They surely recorded multi-tracks though, no? We saw the 'footage' in Control of Ian in the booth recording his "Frank Sinatra" style vox, separately. Could it be reconstructed without Ian's vocal? Or would that have to be a 'new' project (and hence not likely to happen for this obscure, in-house Warners page)? This is the insider info we appreciate from you. Gonna miss this when the forum goes. PS I know (well, I suspect) you can't answer the questions about Box Set stuff at the moment. But if you feel like responding to my last set of BM'88 questions on the Brotherhood box set thread, I'd be especially thrilled. Just sayin'.

In this case it looks like Warners publishing department use it to share instrumentals with production companies in the hope that they might get syncs on TV/film etc As the disco.ac site says in it's overview " Only people you share with can access your music" So it looks like someone has shared the Warners playlist a little wider than intended!

But if you feel like responding to my last set of BM'88 questions on the Brotherhood box set thread, I'd be especially thrilled. Just sayin'. You could do instrumentals for anything you have the multitracks for, but they need someone to recreate the original production, which isn't always easy. You'll hear (new) instrumentals of anything done for ATMOS, since that recreation will have been done. On the other stuff: I don't know anything about Warners plans (or not) for the release of the digital singles. Technique will happen after we've got the JD one ready. Is there a contact at Warner we could contact to remind them that they appear to.have forgotten to release these digital singles, and politely ask them to release them?
