Ah no way!
He was the undoubted master of film music. His music was and is incredible. I’ll stick on his theme to Once Upon A Time In The West and raise a toast to the great man.

Yep, his theme to Once Upon A Time In The West is my favourite, though Deborah's Theme from Once Upon A Time In America is a close contender. Once Upon A Time In The West theme is, well, can it be described in words? I'll try for just a start;haunting beyond compare and just bloody, bloody beautiful .

My favourite Morricone piece will always be this one. That bit between 4:20 and 5:00 is just incredible. Talk about building to a crescendo. A true legend.
