Well I saw Adam Ant on his Dirk Wears White Sox Tour at the Copper Rooms earlier this year and also saw Hooky play Brotherhood and low Life just down the road at the Leamington Spa Assembly a couple of months ago. I thoroughly enjoyed Hooky's show and thought the Copper Rooms was pretty good as a venue, so I'll be going to this one too.

Hook sang revenge songs wonderfully well, and I may be wrong but clips I have heard from the light live shows suggest he practice singing for a few months, before coming to America again, or , just don't sing at all, and let the crowd sing , or hum in unison, to an instrumental show.

Ah so The Copper Rooms is at Warwick University, which of course is not actually in Warwick. And it's not really in Coventry either in my opinion.Certainly not easy to get to from Coventry city centre. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, much like Hooky's career.

You can always drive there as there are huge (free) car parks available within a few minutes walk of the Copper Rooms. And there's a bus service that goes there, albeit I don't know where from as I didn't use it.

i went to his hull gig the night mc came out

in all honesty his vocals don't sound too bad, they seemed to be really low in the mix plus potts was singing

they sound terrible on youtube though i must admit

i must also admit that i was hammered and that may have something to do with them sounding ok tooBig Grin

Potts sings fine and Peter can sound awfully good . I wish they could write new songs , tour on their own output, and squeeze in JD / NO songs . But if they prefer to play live all of Technique and republic that is also tantalizing .
