Dunno, there was probably a bit of wire mesh in the studio when they had to come up with a title. Probably not about anything . Barney most likely just shoved a few lines together about contracts being made in the snow that sounded good and fitted the music If you google the lyrics to Mesh you get the lyrics to Cries And Whispers.
