Is it just me or does the original version of Ceremony have to have the best intro to any song, ever. There is something so epic, so transcendent about this song, I don't know what it is but it is just perfect - definitely one of the best songs ever made for me. Aye, never understood how people prefer the lame re recorded version (the one that opens Substance) but that's an argument that's been had millions of times blah blah blah. The 7" vinyl positively THUMPS out of my stereo when i stick it on the turntable.Steve's drums on it produces a sound out of my speakers nothing quite like any other.

It sounds more clean, more spatial and much more well recorded and mixed than the previous one. The original one is very unpolished. I love the sound of Steve's tom-toms moving from a channel to another, it's perfect to hear with headphones. |

The 7-inch version sounds like a demo. |

I like the original version as it sounds more massive. However, I wish it had more of Steve's tom-toms.
