I think it sounds much better as a 5 piece band. Phil adds a bit of guitar but more importantly Phil takes the syn drum duty away from the bass player and Tom can really jam during the last 3 minutes.

I must admit, I do like what Chapman has added to Blue Monday with the intro riffs and that echo/delay high-end melody towards the end.

Lets face it we've heard the bloody song so much any change is welcome, even if it's a full-on brass band.
